what an amazing sight we had here last evening.
i did not anticipate being able to see the moon, let alone get a half decent photo. (believe me when i tell you that a half-decent photo simply means not a bright white blob in the sky- its not like you can see the man on the moon or anything, but its better than any past moon i've tried to capture.)
after sunset- there it was, hanging in the sub-zero sky for all to see.
i am so incredibly grateful for the beginning of winter and the milestone that is solstice.
the amazing lunar eclipse was a great way to usher out long nights and ring in the promise of long alaskan days.
